Privacy Policy
This is a small editorial site, and it collects very little. This page describes all of it, in plain language.
What we collect
Basic analytics. Our web server and analytics tool record standard, aggregated information about visits: pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, browser type and time of visit. We use this only to understand which entries people read. It is not used to build a profile of you and is not linked to your name.
Email addresses you give us. If you write to us, we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to answer it and to keep a record of any correction that resulted. If a newsletter is offered and you sign up, we hold the address you gave and nothing else.
We do not ask for, and have no way to receive, payment details, identity documents or booking information, because the site sells nothing and books nothing.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share it with hotels, advertisers or data brokers. We do not run advertising networks or third-party tracking pixels on the site.
Cookies
The site does not require cookies to function. Any that are set come from the analytics tool and are used to distinguish one visit from another. Blocking them in your browser will not stop the site working.
Removal
Write to editor@frostgoalers.com and ask, and we will delete your address and any correspondence we hold, and remove you from any list you are on. You do not have to explain why, and we will confirm when it is done.
External links
Where we link to a hotel or another site, that site's own privacy practices apply once you leave here. We have no control over them and no visibility into what they collect.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. We do not send notifications about it.
